The lack of press G6 comes from the fact that Pontiac has an attractive car, sporty – we all know that the solstice. The Solstice is nice, but there’s only so much you can do in a two-seater roadster. Some fans of car performance and driving fun and the ability to stay dry in the rain, making things, and the load the vehicle with two or more hot ladies.

In this spirit, the gussied-Pontiac G6 coupe and G6 GXP presented his concept at the 2006 New York Auto Show. If you ask us, this G6 GXP is one of the most beautiful cars ever came to Pontiac. He is tortuous, low and elegant – and most importantly, it is far from a monstrosity of design known as the Aztec.

Although many of the elegant G6 GXP comes from the base G6 coupe, plus some extra keys are added to make this car really stand out. People probably first noticed him on the GXP is old school Porsche style whale tail spoiler sitting in the back. The design feature that will be most noticeable is, of course, the dual-nostril hood scoops or mass distribution. We would like to see something smaller and more subtle in the front, but it’s just us. Engine power was increased in 2006. The G6 GXP features a 3.9-liter V6 engine with 6-speed manual transmission, produces 270 hp and a torque of 259 lb / ft with a cat-back free flowing exhaust and K & Nintake. The front-drive configuration of the old G6 is selected.

The interior of the old G6 is almost intact in the new model. Smaller changes include red chrome trim, the same effect is also added to the handbrake, shifter and instrument gauges give the interior a sporty edge. The seats can not be fully compatible with this image of sport bucket seats are not available.

At the time of writing (May 2006), Pontiac did not commit to the complete liberation of the G6 GXP, despite the strongest guarantees in the Solstice GXP. The New York International Auto Show Pontiac will offer the opportunity to present its latest concept and G6 GXP be a hit with the press and public, can begin production. It is hard to see how elegant and aggressive is bound to impress.
